Doug Maxwell

Doug Maxwell

Doug Maxwell is a graduate of Yale University where he studied music composition with Maury Yeston, film scoring with Frank Lewin, and architectural acoustics with Dr. Robert Apfell.

He has written, and produced music for Joan Osborne, Taylor Dayne, Judy Collins, Ronnie Spector, Latoya Jackson, Average White Band, Bebe Winans, Gladys Knight, Chaka Kahn, Motown, C.B.S., RCA, and SBK Records.

He was commissioned by the Pennsylvania Ballet to compose a work commemorating the events of 9/11 which was performed at Lincoln Center. He composed music for the Off-Broadway show "In the Wings".

He has written scores for director Bob Giraldi, Honey Nut Cheerios, Oreos, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, No Excuses Jeans, Uniform Jeans, CBS television, Fox Movie Of The Week, The National Lampoon, The Elen DeGeneres Show, Scholastic audio books, The Childrens Television Workshop, numerous industrial films and audio books.

He has created music products for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Playboy Enterprises, One Step Ahead Baby Catalog, Basic Comfort, Johnson and Johnson, The National Football League, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Mets, Book Of The Month Club, Logo Ball, In The Company Of Dogs, and Doubleday Publishing.

He received the A.I.C.P and Museum of Modern Art top prize for music and sound design, the European Key Award, and the Backstage readers choice award for best music/sound design.

He has been the president of Media Right Productions for twenty-six years. He has organized on-going fund raising events for The American Lung Association, The American Diabetes Association, World Hunger Relief, and AmF.A.R.. He co-founded the Off Wall Street Jam.

Doug was born legally blind and taught himself to see. He is the founder and C.E.O. of The Visionary Media Group, a not-for-profit foundation assisting blind composers and musicians with training and employment. Doug has been a composer/lyricist in the B.M.I Lehman Engel Music Theater Workshop.

Joe Sears

Joe Sears Joe Sears is an Audio Engineer (Pro Tools expert)/Producer/Composer/Songwriter with over 25 years of full-time experience in the music business in New York City. As Chief Engineer/Producer/Composer for David Horowitz Music Associates, and several other companies along the way, Joe has recorded and mixed hundreds of TV and Radio commercials, short films, documentaries, feature films, and commercially released albums in all different acoustic and electric styles. Much of his work has won awards.

Joe has worked with clients such as GE, Pepsi, Mercedes, HBO, Coca-Cola, Nabisco, VISA, McDonalds, Accenture, American Express, Burger King, GM, US Army, Gillette, NHL, Campbells, Fed-Ex and AT&T. Graig Janssen

Graig Janssen

A passion for music has been with Graig from a young age. Growing up in Haddonfield, New Jersey, he studied piano and guitar before moving to New York to pursue a major in music at Columbia University. Since graduating, Graig has come to find his home in the music industry - the recording studio.

Graig continued his studies at the Institute of Audio Research and began working as an engineer under Doug Maxwell, producer and founder of Visionary Media Company and Media Right Productions. Graig worked as an editor and mixing engineer at Media Right studios on a wide range of projects, which included a full length documentary film and albums in the rock, pop and r&b genres. Graig has worked with many artists such as KRS-One, Patti Smith, Empire of the Sun, Mike Stern, Horacio 'El Negro' Hernandez and Placido Domingo .
